Yoga Types

Our classes are suitable for beginners (never before stepped on a yoga mat) and yoga lovers of all levels of experience. No matter your age, fitness or flexibility all our classes allow you to work at your own pace with plenty of options to rest, learn something new or feel challenged.

If you're new to yoga, we recommend you start with one of our Vinyasa Yoga (All Levels) classes.

Yoga Point Cook

Vinyasa Yoga (All Levels)

Classes flow from one pose to the next in a series of vinyasas that synchronise movement with the breath and create a deeper mind-body connection.

Suitable for all levels of fitness and flexibility. Vinyasa classes increase strength, develop flexibility, and improve overall fitness.

Dynamic Yoga

An energetic style of vinyasa yoga that explores progressive yoga poses, arm balances and core work. This is a great class to help you advance your practice with a focus on developing the correct alignment for postures and taking your yoga practice to the next level.

Hatha & Pranayama (slow paced)

A slow paced yoga class that combines static postures with a focus on developing correct alignment. Hatha yoga is taught in a workshop setting so that our teachers have additional time to adjust and refine your practice. Hatha classes also include traditional pranayama (breathing) practices to help calm the mind.

Yin & Meditation (Floor Based)

A relaxing and meditative form of floor-based yoga. Poses are held for longer periods of time and work on the connective tissues of the body. This creates a counter balance to our traditional hatha and vinyasa yoga practices. Yin classes incorporate the principles of mindfulness into postures allowing for a deeper mind body connection. Classes conclude with a mindfulness-based meditation practice to help cultivate stillness in the mind and a deep sense of relaxation.

Pregnancy Yoga Point Cook

Pregnancy Yoga

Pregnancy yoga classes are a specialised form of yoga adapted from traditional yoga poses to make yoga 100% safe throughout pregnancy. Classes are relaxing and help prepare mum-to-be for labour and birth physically, mentally and emotionally. Additional charges apply.
