Helping Mum & Bub Experience Yoga Together
Our Mums and bubs classes will show you how to integrate yoga into your daily life with your bub. Classes offer mum and bub a special time to relax, play and practice yoga together. All classes are ‘baby led’ which means you feed, change, cuddle and take a break as required. Don't worry about tears and tantrums happening in class, they will happen and that's totally OK
Classes primarily focus on Mum with bubs incorporated into the class to make it enjoyable for them. Bubs can attend classes with mum from ages 6 weeks to 4 Years.
We offer 3 different classes designed specifically to cater to your bubs developmental milestones (Pre-Crawling, Crawling and Walking), grouping similar aged bubs together keeps the class environment safe and enjoyable for all Mums and Bubs in the room. If you're not sure which class would best suit your bub, contact us to discuss suitability.
Multiple Kids: There is no additional fee to bring multiple kids to class (Max 2 from same family), but do expect multiple joyous mayhem. Multiple kids are best suited to the older age groups where we can place a non-mobile baby in a baby carrier or capsule keeping them safely cocooned in their own space and out of the way of more active bubs.
Mums & Bubs (Pre-Crawlers):
When: Mondays 11:15am - 12:00pm
Overview: Classes offer mum and bub a special time to relax, play and practice yoga together. Classes are a specialised form of post-natal yoga adapted from traditional yoga poses to help heal and restore the body after pregnancy and birth. Classes are focused on helping mum to stretch, relax and breathe, because a relaxed mum = a relaxed baby. Learn how to incorporate simple yogic practices into daily life to assist with managing some of the challenges and emotions of being a new mum.
Baby Yoga: Pre-crawler classes involve a special series of baby yoga postures specifically designed to promote neurological and motor skill development and to assist bub with wind, colic and sleep. Baby yoga is fun and enjoyable for both parent and baby, it promotes bonding and teaches parents new ways to connect and play with their baby.
Classes are suitable for Mum and Bub from 6 weeks after birth with doctor’s clearance.
Note: This class is for non-mobile babies only, contact us to discuss suitability if you need to bring an older child to class.
Mums & Bubs Yoga (Crawlers):
When: Mondays 12:15pm - 1:00pm
Once bub has mastered crawling it's time to experience the joy and embrace the mayhem of practicing yoga with a moving bub. Your yoga bub may be clinging to you, climbing on you, making friends or exploring the room. The crawlers and explorers’ class incorporate traditional yoga poses for mum focusing on building strength, rebuilding the core and toning the pelvic floor. Classes also include playful kids’ yoga poses for mum and bub to practice together.
The class is suitable for a crawling bub (6+ months) to a walker (12 - 18 months).
Mums & Bubs Yoga (Walkers & Talkers):
When: Mondays 1:45pm - 2:30pm *Register Interest*
Once bub is confident on their feet and no longer walks but runs everywhere, it's time to move an older and more independent class. Walkers and talkers classes are focused on helping mum build strength, flexibility and fitness with the convenience of bringing older kids to class. Classes are light-hearted and fun, they include playful kids’ yoga poses for mum and bub to connect, play and practice yoga together.
This class is suitable from 18 months - 4 years.
Join the Next Mums & Bubs Class:
All mums and bubs classes are 45 minutes in duration and run at the same time each week, courses run for 5 consecutive weeks.
When: Mondays (6/05/19 - 03/06/19) - 5 Week Course
- Pre-Crawlers (11:15am - 12:00pm)
- Crawlers & Explorers (12:15pm - 1:00pm)
- Mums & Bubs 5 Week Course: $90.00 (1 x class / week for 5 weeks)
- Mums & Bubs 4 Week Course: $72.00 (1 x class / week for 4 weeks)
- Mums & Bubs 3 Week Course: $54.00 (1 x class / week for 3 weeks)

Booking Note: If you know if advance you cannot attend all 5 weeks due to other commitments, contact us before booking the course to see if there is availability to only pay for the weeks you can attend. You must be able to attend at least 3 of the 5 weeks.
What to Bring:
Please bring the following with you to class:
- A swaddle or blanket for baby to lie on (pre-crawlers)
- Favourite toys or teethers
- If eating solids, bring water and easy to clean snacks. Please avoid things that are hard to clean up (we have carpet) if they spill, such as juice and soft foods.
- You may like to bring a soft baby carrier such as a hug-a-bub wrap that will allow you to wear baby and sit comfortably on the floor (optional)
- If using a portable baby capsule feel free to bring it with you into the room
- Baby is happiest when they can see you, any item such as a bouncer that allows baby to sit up and watch what's happening is always welcome (pre-crawlers)
- Prams - We don't permit prams within the studio, however there is plenty of pram parking out the front of our reception area undercover (bring valuables inside)
Mums & Bubs yoga is run as a 5-week course (1 x class / week for 5 consecutive weeks), we accept enrolments into our course every 6 weeks. Late and casual entry is available for some courses subject to availability - ask us.
Make-Up Classes: If you are sick or need to miss a class, you can choose to transfer a maximum of (1) class forward to the next course on the condition you re-enrol for a further 5 weeks. Alternatively, Mum can attend any of our adult classes (without bub) before the end of the course. Unfortunately, classes not attended after the last day of the course will be forfeited.
